J. Wood — Web Designer & Creative Builder
I design and build browser-based tools, games, and platforms from scratch, with intention. Building for the web since 1998, with a deep love for the handmade spirit of the early internet.
I started building websites in 1998, figuring out HTML largely on my own at a time when almost no one around me was doing it. That curiosity led to running my own studio, Jonasty Factory, doing web design, graphic design, and photo retouching. It never stopped from there. I'm a graphic design trained creative, trained musician, and composer who has been shipping things to the web for nearly three decades. I take ideas from sketch to launch, building complete products including audio tools, games, productivity apps, and media platforms, entirely in the browser, no frameworks required. My work is deeply influenced by a love for the early web and the handmade, personal quality of that era, a spirit that feels more alive than ever right now.
